Sara:
I love this photo. It‘s quite a good one of everyone. It really captures the moment. We‘re all looking so tired at the end of a long day. It was a good picnic though. Three generations together...having fun and eating too much! Look, I‘m in the middle wearing a long sleeved, checked dress. I should have worn shorts. It was a hot day. And that‘s Richard, behind me - the tall guy with the short, dark hair. He‘s always elegant even when he‘s wearing jeans and a tee shirt as he is here. He always wears a suit and tie for work, of course. He usually wears glasses but he took them off for the photo. He thinks he looks more handsome without them! The older lady, the plump one there, sitting under the tree on the left...wearing the flowered dress...is my mom. Isn‘t she great? She‘s always happy. This is a lovely photo of her. The person beside her is Li Ting, our Chinese neighbour... you can‘t see her very well... her sunhat is hiding her face. She often joins us for family occasions. She really likes children and always keeps the boys entertained. She‘s wearing a gorgeous silk dress with tiny stars on. Can you see it? It‘s not very clear, I‘m afraid. The other woman, the one in jeans, is my friend, Val. She‘s great fun. She always wears casual clothes. And there‘s my brother, Danny - the guy in the striped shorts, looking crazy as usual. He always wears sneakers...even for work.

Li Ting:
This is a photo of a picnic I had with my neighbours, the Black family ...or the Blacks as we call them. That‘s Sara Black ... that‘s her husband, Richard and that‘s Danny, her brother who has no shirt on. Sara‘s father, the older man on the right is a lovely man - very distinguished looking... with white hair and a moustache. The children are great too. Sara has twin boys, Tom and Sam. They‘re identical. Can you see them? They usually wear school uniform and then it‘s impossible to tell them apart - both in grey trousers, white shirts and dark blue jackets - and they often play tricks on people...but, here in the photo, they‘re wearing different clothes. Let me see... Yes, that‘s Tom. He‘s wearing shorts and a striped tee shirt and Sam is in shorts and a plain tee shirt. Tom has taken his shoes off so has bare feet. Sam is the one in the baseball cap. The other boy, the one in sunglasses, is Tim, Val‘s son. Val‘s the woman in jeans and a checked shirt ...with short wavy hair. The young girl wearing the short skirt and spotted blouse is Helen. She has lovely, straight, blond hair. Don‘t look at me! It‘s a terrible photo of me.
